It’s Samuel L. Jackson, so of course there’s some salty language, but settle down for this fascinating look back through his career as he talks Pulp Fiction, Nick Fury, Snakes on a Plane and of course the master, Mace Windu. Oh, and how he doesn’t think any of his characters ever die.

Samuel L. Jackson joins GQ as he revisits some of the most iconic characters from his career so far: from playing Jedi Master Mace Windu in the Star Wars franchise, to calling the shots as Nick Fury in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe.

“I didn’t know I was going to make nine movies in like two-and-a-half years,” says Jackson. His favorite Nick Fury moment? Captain America: Winter Soldier’s iconic car scene (“that’s quintessential Nick Fury”). Watch the full episode of GQ’s Iconic Characters as Samuel L. Jackson breaks down his most iconic movie roles.

Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist is streaming now on Peacock with a new episode premiering weekly on Thursdays.
