As we await the arrival of Light & Magic on Disney Plus later this month, now’s the perfect time to dip back half a decade to 2017 when many of the ILM stars featured in the new Lawrence Kasdan documentary were interviewed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1977 original.

Full length version of interviews filmed at 32ten Studios (previous location of Industrial Light and Magic). Special effects pioneers, artists and producers share stories of the Making of Star Wars and how working for Lucasfilm changed their lives. Filmed by Jon Peters and Timothy Taylor of Athena Studios.
