littleBits invite Silicon Valley firms to create new R2-D2 Droid Inventor Kits builds

The BBC have reported a nice feature of Star Wars licencee littleBits inviting several top Silicon Valley companies to take part in a competition to hack the R2-D2 from their Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit and create new and exciting Droid functions.

The aim of the event was to promote tech careers to children.

With the Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit kids can create their own custom Droid and bring it to life it with littleBits electronic blocks.

  • Customize & reconfigure for new powers
