Imagine it’s 13th July 1942, you happen to be at the Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, Illinois and around 11.00am a young Harrison Ford is born. You wouldn’t know it but but just under 35 years later this son of a former radio actress and advertising executive and former actor will star in a film that will change Hollywood and launch one of the great blockbuster careers that continues for 44 years with original classics, sequels, some interesting plane flights and the most famous fingerpoint in history.
As we do every year, we celebrate the birthday of Harrison Ford, currently recouperating from an injury while rehearsing for his fourth Indiana Jones sequel, and wish him health, happiness (or at the very least non-grouchiness) and many more to come.
