Twenty-five years ago, the galaxy came to Basildon as Jedi Con IV arrived at the Towngate Theatre in Essex on 19th December 2001, bringing a Celebration-worthy guest list to the show. Among the many guests at the show were Caroline Blakiston (Mon Mothma), Jerome Blake (Rune Haako/Oppo Rancisis/Mas Amedda/Graxol Kelvyyn/Horox Ryyder/Orn Free Taa/Lott Dod’s Aide), Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett/Lieutenant Sheckil/Captain Colton), Dave Prowse (Darth Vader), Bob Anderson (Darth Vader stunt), Katie Purvis (maternal ewok), Alan Ruscoe (Plo Koon (TPM)/Daultay Dofine/Bib Fortuna (TPM)/Lott Dod (AOTC)), Phil Herbert (Hermi Odle), Margaret Towner (Jira), Friday Wilson (Eirtae), Chris Parsons (4-LOM/Death Star Droid/K-3PO/C-3PO (Stand in)/Stormtrooper (Stand in)/Snowtrooper (Stand-in)), Michael Carter (Bib Fortuna), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Michael Sheard(Admiral Ozzel), Kenny Baker (R2-D2/Paploo) and more.
