From Fantasy Flight Games, this is the new Star Wars: Unlimited – Homeworlds Spotlight Deck Display (6) Chewbacca & Grand Moff Tarkin, from the ninth expansion set for Unlimited which arrived on 9th October. Each £24.99 spotlight deck contains three copies each of the Chewbacca & Grand Moff Tarkin Spotlight Decks and hours of new adventures.

Welcome to Homeworlds, the ninth set of Star Wars™: Unlimited! As its title suggests, this set turns its focus to the various planets of the Star Wars galaxy, featuring characters, ships, and events tied to different alien cultures—or the invading armies they defend against.

With a new set comes a new pair of Spotlight Decks! Each of these pre-built, read-to-play 50-card decks is carefully crafted to help you jump straight into the set. Keep up the pressure in a relentless assault with Chewbacca, or fortify your forces and prepare to deploy the Death Star as Grand Moff Tarkin!

In addition to over 260 new cards, Homeworlds introduces several new features into the game. Upgrade your base with the new Fortify keyword; call on the aid of powerful Beast token units; and sap the strength of your enemies with Weakness tokens!

Enhance your collection with Carbonite Edition booster packs! These special premium packs are loaded with variant cards that have special aesthetic treatments—including the Carbonite-exclusive Prestige variants—making them a perfect pick for collectors. These are limited in quantity and will not be reprinted, so grab them before they’re gone!

With over 260 new cards, Homeworlds is the biggest set to date, adding to the gameplay. For the first time since launch, Star Wars™: Unlimited introduces a keyword that lets players ‘fortify’ their own base, opening up entirely new defensive strategies for deckbuilders.

For players, the new Star Wars™: Unlimited decks feature a card pool of 272 cards in total including fan favourites from the Rebels and Empire. Key features of Star Wars™: Unlimited Homeworlds include:

Fortify – a brand-new keyword and the headline mechanic of the set, allowing players to attach upgrade cards to their base instead of a unit for the first time in Star Wars™: Unlimited history.

Chewbacca – the first new Spotlight Deck leader, arriving as a Command and Heroism leader who lets friendly units attack even while exhausted, with a deck built around low-cost Ewok units and Rebel companions.

Grand Moff Tarkin – a Vigilance and Villainy leader built entirely around Fortify, who ignores aspect penalties on Fortify upgrades and can flip into a playable Death Star once a player reaches 9 resources – capable of destroying an opposing base outright.

Two new token types – Beast tokens – 3 power/3 HP units, the largest tokens in the game so far – and Weakness tokens, which inflict a -1/-1 penalty on enemy units.
A card pool of 272 cards in total, including 18 Leaders, 16 Bases, 180 Units, 27 Upgrades and 31 Events, with 20 Legendary and 58 Rare cards among them.

Each Spotlight Deck ships as a ready-to-play 50-card deck complete with leader, base, token cards and a Homeworlds booster pack, making it easy for both new and existing TCG players to jump straight into the new set.

Stay tuned for our upcoming review of Homeworlds and check out our look at the eighth expansion Ashes of the Empire, and our reviews of the seventh expansion A Lawless Time, the sixth expansion, Secrets of Power and the fifth expansion Legends of the Force.
