Inspired by the art of Hans Jennsen and Richard Chasemore in Star Wars: Incredible Cross Sections written by David West Reynolds, here’s a closer look at an amazing build by modelmaker Kevin Hoppert opening up an Imperial Star Destroyer and showing what’s inside this mile-long behemoth.

Modelmaker Kevin Hoppert shares with us his jaw-dropping model of a deconstructed Star Destroyer! Inspired by the David West Reynolds illustration in the Star Wars: Incredible Cross Sections book, Kevin scratch-built this two foot model with the intention of eventually scaling it up to a four foot version. Plus, we take a closer look at his DeLorean Time Machine mash-up with a Snowspeeder!
