Friend of the site and Fantha Tracks Radio podcaster Jez Allinson  – aka the Running Stormtrooper – has been nominated for a Pride of Britain Award as a regional finalist.

Truly humbled and honoured to have been nominated for a Pride of Britain Award ????????. I am one of 4 regional finalists for the @itvmeridian (west) region. Tonight on the 6pm ITV Meridian (west) News my video will get shown. The regional finalist, who will go forward to the national final will get decided and announced on Friday.

I’m in shock. All of those nominated are worthy of winning, I’m just incredibly grateful for the recognition and hope that it may unlock some more fundraising for Make-A-Wish UK and Spread a Smile especially during these difficult times ????
I’ve not seen my video yet, all I know is that they filmed it the day after my 50 mile run so I was feeling shattered ????

Best of luck to Jez. We’re completely biased, but we believe he truly deserves to win this award, and while we’re crossing our fingers for him check out his latest episode with co-host Stuart Skinner.
