Disney Parks, Experiences and Products division lay off 28,000 staff

On the day of the presidential debate, sad news arrives as it’s revealed that a staggering 28,000 Disney Parks employees will be laid off. 67% of those layoffs are part-time employees, with the redundancies spread across its various theme parks in the company’s Parks, Experiences and Products division.

The layoffs will hit the company’s Parks, Experiences and Products, the company said on Tuesday. Disney (DIS) added that 67% of the employees laid off will be part-time workers.
