Diego Luna confirms the Cassian Andor series has begun filming in London

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel – who’s hit a rich vein of having on great Star Wars guests following Natalie Portman who was on recently – Diego Luna confirmed that he is in London making “a short film with some friends” aka the Cassian Andor series for Disney Plus, alongside Denise Gough, Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgard and Kyle Soller.

Diego talks about filming the Rogue One spin-off series for Disney+, learning his lesson about having his kids on set, his father hating Christmas when he was growing up, recreating The Princess Bride for charity, and his movie Wander Darkly.

With The Mandalorian smashing it on Disney Plus, Kenobi close to filming and now Cassian underway we’ve got an awesome few years of Star Wars ahead of us. Celebration Anaheim in 2022 is going to be incredible.
