There are few more creative, skilled and inquisitive people than Adam Savage, and here we see him take that skill and make a fully machined all-aluminum replica of Chewbacca‘s bowcaster from The Force Awakens.

Adam welcomes replica prop maker Manny Romero (aka Portumac Prop Studios) to the cave, who brings with him a project years in the making: a fully machined all-aluminum replica of Chewbacca’s bowcaster from The Force Awakens! Adam gets his first look at his newest prop acquisition and learns how it was meticulously created with parts from four different machine shops. Time to assemble this incredible build!
