BEWARE SPOILERS: Just like with the previous Disney Plus series, we at Fantha Tracks will be offering our own episode guide for your entertainment! Here we will post every reference, Easter egg, everything named and unnamed per episode and some fun trivia in-between that we have spotted.

Official summary: Hera must answer to the New Republic while far, far away, a reunion takes place.

Trivia

The symbol on the Senate oversight committee building is the Galactic Great Seal, the emblem of the Galactic Republic’s Senate. It appears in all three Prequel movies and in Prequel-era series, on the Chancellor’s Podium in the Senate Rotunda, but also at the end of a staff given to the action figure of Supreme Chancellor Valorum.

Aliens on the Senate oversight committee are: Sullustan, Mon Calamari, Ithorian, Ishi Tib and the unidentified species first seen in deleted scenes from The Last Jedi with the character Grayla Stindy.

And a fair few of earlier seen characters return within the Senate oversight committee. We can see: Mon Mothma, Senator Xiono, Senator Mawood, First Officer Vic Hawkins and Lieutenant Beyta.

Well one can never be too sure, but that Mon Calamari next to Mon Mothma is probably not Ackbar. While he is in white, the costume is different and also has a different rank badge. This is the rank badge for a general, which is an army rank, and Ackbar is an admiral, which is a navy rank. It would also not make sense for Ackbar to be there and away from Home One.

They refer to the incident on Mandalore with Moff Gideon, which was seen in last episodes of season 3 of The Mandalorian.

C-3PO returns, once again played by Anthony Daniels. He starts to say that he is C-3PO, but Mon Mothma cuts in by saying the 3PO part. This happened in Attack Of The Clones as well, with Anakin cutting the droid off and finishing the name.

Xiono dismissing Threepio as a mere droid once again shows that droids are not being seen as actual being. This is something that echoes throughout a lot of the movies, series and other stories. It was brought to the forefront even more with L3-37 in Solo leading a short-lived droid rebellion for equal rights.

Leia is mentioned to be the leader of the Defense Council. While this is newly added to the canon through this series (it was also mentioned in the first episode), there was such an organization in Legends as well. It was first mentioned in the Black Fleet Crisis novel trilogy.

Anakin mentions of course movie villains like Dooku and General Grievous, but it is really nice that Ventress, who only originated in literature and animated series, to get such a nod as well.

Anakin was considered to be a good master. It is nice to hear for once someone remembering Anakin in a positive light, for the man and hero he was, and not what he ultimately became.

The mines are new and not a tactic we have really seen the Empire use before either.

It makes total sense for the Inquisitors to have their own database on Jedi and all they know about them. Considering Thrawn’s high rank, it makes sense he always had access to such files and had copies on them onboard his Star Destroyer.

As said in our previous guide, Thrawn already knew about Anakin being Ahsoka’s master. So him being surprised now is a mistake in continuity.

It is mentioned that the Jedi are good at hiding due to practice. Thrawn is not wrong with this, even if he ignores that the Empire he served was the reason for the Jedi being hunted by Inquisitors after Order 66. Thrawn also has a more positive outlook on the Jedi’s abilities to hide, as the Grand Inquisitor was certain that Jedi eventually reveal themselves as they cannot help being who they are, rising up to help those in need.

Sabine has told Ezra everything that has happened, and that we have seen before. Except for Zeb training recruits. Which is a new explanation to his cameo appearance in The Mandalorian – Chapter 21: The Pirate, where we saw him in a flight suit on Adelphi Base.

Ezra mentions that Sabine has trained a little before, back when he was first learning. He refers to Rebels, 3×15 – Trials Of The Darksaber, where we see Sabine getting Darksaber fighting lessons from Kanan.

Ahsoka contacting Sabine through the Force echoes when Luke did the same with reaching out to Leia in The Empire Strikes Back.

Ezra tells one of the Noti to fire on the incoming bandits. The Noti uses a slingshot, the same kind of weapon Ezra used in the early episodes of Rebels. His however was an energy slingshot, so much more effective.

Slingshots have been seen before Ezra used one also. We have seen the Ewoks use them, but also one of Hondo’s pirates in The Clone Wars, 5×05 – Tipping Points. This pirate threatens to fire on Anakin, who had just arrived in the camp.

During the attack the Noti have formed a protective circle with their pods, with the bandits on their howlers circling around it. This is a classic Western movie image, and one of the few we had not yet seen before in a Star Wars movie or series despite that many of the recent series have been Western-inspired.

The little droid flying out of the gunship is new, but resembles the IMG-099 Imperial Mark IV patrol droid that was added to A New Hope since the Special Editions.

Holo map with projections of the forces brings to mind a similar map seen in Attack Of The Clones, with Dooku and the Geonosians tracking the battle outside. Even though that map was part of a table, and this is just a floating hologram.
