While his Cornetto trilogy collaborators Simon Pegg (Unkar Plutt and Dengar) and Nick Frost (SM-33) have found fame in the GFFA, their director Edgar Wright hasn’t yet, but it’s worth remembering that he’s been in plain sight (for only 1 frame less than Constable Zuvio) for the last eight years. Chatting with Josh Horowitz on the latest episode of the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast he reminds us that he is one of the many Crait Resistance troopers (alongside Gary Barlow, Brian Herring, Joe Cornish, Gareth Edwards and others), and while his Star Wars experience is fleeting (so far) he is a canonical character, and he has a name.
