Steer clear if you are planning on remaining entirely 100% spoiler free for Solo: A Star Wars Story, but if not then read on as Mark Hamill drops an entirely unsurprising knowledge nugget regarding a cameo appearance.

Speaking on Cape Up with Jonathan Capehart Hamill broke protocol and spilled the beans.

Daniels was so happy, ’cause he’s in every single Star Wars movie. Every single one. All the prequels, he’s in Rogue One, he’s in Solo. Whoops!

I hope that’s not, erm, but anyway, he’s in every single Star Wars movie. That’s not such a reveal – all Star Wars fans expect him to be in every movie.

It’s hardly a spoiler and yes, we’d feel cheated without a cameo by Threepio. Now we have to wonder what form the cameo takes. The era of the Droids cartoons of the 80’s saw Artoo and Threepio wandering the galaxy under the ownership of different masters before coming in to the ownership of the Organa family, but there’s no saying that’s how the droids fates are played out in the canon era.

Thankfully there are only 15 days to wait and see if this is the only cameo in the film (it’s not, we’ve heard of an absolute belter of a cameo – more soon) less if you’re fortunate enough to be attending the Hollywood premier tomorrow.
