May the 4th: Original Star Wars fan art lands on Disney Plus

To celebrate May the 4th, Disney Plus reveal a platform take over featuring commissioned original artwork by a group of global artists and fans. Lucasfilm and Disney Plus worked with each artist to choose what resonated most with them, creating unique pieces that bring the story of the Star Wars saga to life. The images will continue to grown from Tuesday 4th May through to Saturday 9th May.

The first piece landed on Disney Plus today.

Whenever they open the app, we want viewers to feel like they are entering a truly unique Disney experience. For this year’s “May the 4th,” we teamed up with Lucasfilm to celebrate the fans that make this day possible by showcasing multiple pieces of impressive fan art created by the Star Wars community on Disney+.”
