Every year, May the 4th brings an exciting time for fans of Star Wars everywhere. It’s a great time to pull out prized collectibles and bring them front and center and put your favorite film or show on repeat.
May the 4th has emerged from the collective passion of Star Wars enthusiasts from around the world. It is a grassroots phenomenon that now transcends the English language pun that inspired it — and once again, Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs is joining the celebration.
Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs Presents: The Event Featuring Star Wars is a 7-day limited event drop running May 4–11, 2026. Pull Mystery Capsules, trade with fellow collectors in the Galactic Exchange, and chase the headline prize: a one-of-a-kind Genesis Edition digital pin.
The event features four edition types — the most in a single Disney Pinnacle event to date — including Open Edition digital pins across 12 shapes and 4 variants, a serialized Limited Edition Droid Set, exclusive Limited Event Edition pins available only during the event window, and the headline Genesis Edition: a 1-of-1 digital pin embedded in the capsule pool. The hunt begins May 4th at 9 AM PDT.
Running alongside capsule sales, the Galactic Exchange is a live trading event where collectors can trade with fellow fans, reach milestones, and earn exclusive Star Wars Open Event Edition digital pins. A live trading leaderboard will track rankings throughout the event.

There’s a new film in town, and along with that come the toys, and here’s one of the coolest one’s to be announced in a while – from Hasbro, their new Ultimate Grogu, available to pre-order now at Hasbro Pulse, Amazon and Fan Channel Retailers.
Hasbro, in collaboration with Disney Consumer Products, is unveiling Ultimate Grogu, a first-of-its-kind animatronic of the beloved Star Wars™ character, Grogu. The 1:1 scale premium animatronic Grogu is crafted for collectors, fans, and cosplayers, transforming the magic of Star Wars from screen to home.
“Our goal with Ultimate Grogu was to make fans feel like he’s truly part of their world,” said Adam Biehl, Head of Disney Action Brands at Hasbro. “Our design and development team spent hours studying how the character came to life in The Mandalorian series, striving to capture his personality and movements in a way that honors what Lucasfilm delivered in entertainment. Powered by our long-standing collaboration with Disney Consumer Products, we’re launching the most life-like, interactive, and expressive Grogu character Hasbro has ever created.”
The Ultimate Grogu product features built-in motors, sensors, and microphones to deliver over 250 animations and sounds. The animatronic boasts three different modes of play which include endearing movements like waving, giggling and even “toddling” forward, in ways that make him incredibly life-like. Ultimate Grogu features premium materials, painstakingly crafted into screen-accurate details, such as his soft skin face and rooted hair, soft fabric robe, chainmail, cross strap, satchel and beskar rondel armor inspired by the Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu film, only in theaters starting May 22, and the Disney+ series.
Ultimate Grogu is available for pre-order now on Hasbro Pulse, Amazon, and Fan Channel retailers, with two pre-order options launching simultaneously. The first option with standard packaging will begin shipping in early 2027. For fans looking to receive sooner, a limited run of First Edition quantities featuring special edition packaging and a collector card will ship in late 2026.
