Sad news as the voice of C-3PO in France, Roger Carel, passed away aged 93 on 11th September. The originator of all-thing Threepio Anthony Daniels paid his respects to his French vocal counterpart.

Born Roger Bancharel in Paris in 1927, he enjoyed an impressive and successful career as an actor and voice talent, voicing the French versions of such characters as Asterix, Winnie The Pooh, Kermit the Frog, Yogi Bear and ALF.

Incredible to think, across the world there are vocal talents that we in the English speaking world have barely heard of, but whose voices mean so much to our friends around the globe.

Our condolences to his friends, colleagues and family.
