Landing today over at Star Wars Japan, this is the Japanese trailer for The Mandalorian & Grogu, arriving in cinemas worldwide on 22nd May and, as this trailer shows, ready to bring all the action and charm of the hit Disney Plus TV show to big screens everywhere.

The latest Star Wars film returns to theaters! Following the death of Darth Vader and the collapse of the Empire, the galaxy has become a lawless place. The Mandalorian is a ruthless, lone bounty hunter who adheres to his family’s strict code of secrecy and completes any job. One day, he accepts a job to deliver Grogu, also known as “The Child,” a being said to possess immense Force powers and change the world, alive to a client. He initially handed Grogu over, but sensed a mysterious connection and ignored the client’s request to deliver him alive, recapturing him instead. During their long, seemingly endless journey, the two gradually develop a bond like that of father and son. However, they are pursued by remnants of the former Imperial Army, desperate to obtain Grogu’s powers. What fate awaits the Mandalorian and Grogu? “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” will be released simultaneously in Japan and the US on Friday, May 22, 2026!
