20th Century Fox releases the first official poster image from Revenge of the Sith online. The posters then started appearing in theaters nationwide the following week.
The poster features Anakin Skywalker with a scar over his eye, holding a red-bladed Lightsaber. His flowing cloak forms the image of what he is about to become – Darth Vader. This final poster design was one of nearly two hundred concepts developed by New Wave Entertainment.
