Giancarlo Esposito, predominantly discussing his work on the video game Far Cry 6, touched on his award-nominated role of Moff Gideon, that final episode of season two and how he and the cast are trusted to not blow any secrets.

“I got to tell you, they’re so good at keeping secrets and allowing us to know just enough, but not enough to be able to really get what’s happening. None of us knew. I mean, it is such a great thing that they’re able to keep the lid on that. I know that they trusted us to not let it out in the world, but I think by virtue of the fact that it was such a secret, it also gave us the ability to surprise ourselves.”

Can season 3 deliver a moment approaching the sheer thrill of seeing a younger Luke Skywalker enter the room? With work not long since started on the third seaosn and at least three other live action seasons arriving ahead of it – The Book of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor – it looks like we’ll find out later in 2022.
