Bill Kimberlin has a new book on shelves right now – Inside the Star Wars Empire – and he has dropped us a line with some classic images from his ILM days.

“This is Ira Keeler and Steve Gawley working on “Return of the Jedi” I  remember a story Joe Johnston, the art director back then, used to tell  about working so many hours that he fell asleep in the Death Star  trench. Now I understand how.

This story is from my new memoir just out  called, “Inside the Star Wars Empire: A Memoir” In fine book stores everywhere.”
