Issue 223 of Star Wars Insider arrives 12th December in the UK and January 11th in the States, and inside is a look at the second season of The Bad Batch ahead of its third season finale, interviews with actor Tait Fletcher and ILM’s Fon Davis and more new The High Republic fiction.

This issue, in preparation for the final season of The Bad Batch – arriving on Disney+ in the New Year – we catch up with the events of Season Two that left Clone Force 99 down another member, and Omega in the hands of the Empire! Then, we get glamorous with a feature on the couture of the galaxy far, far, away, reviewing the Star Wars fashions that are a long way from the used aesthetic of your average scruffy-looking nerf-herding scoundrel. We interview Tait Fletcher, the performer inside the Paz Vizsla armor in The Mandalorian; and find out about the art of modelmaking from former Industrial Light & Magic expert Fon Davis.

With the latest instalment of our The High Republic short fiction series, and an investigation into why the Emperor’s Death Star stratagem failed so spectacularly in Return of the Jedi, hopefully we’ll fill your head with so much Star Wars that you won’t have time to mourn the end of The Bad Batch too much.
