We’re fast approaching not only the arrival of the latest Thrawn trilogy with the 1st September launch of Thrawn Ascendancy: Book 1: Chaos Rising but the 30th anniversary of the book that arguably jumpstarted Star Wars fever back in 1991 – Heir to the Empire.

To celebrate, the three novels – Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising and The Last Command – are returning to UK stores on Thursday 27th August in paperback format, and here are the covers (first seen in US reprints a couple of years back) to those three classic books.
