It may seem like an odd post, a video for a live sewing circle, but the team at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art have busied themselves during these trying times by partnering up with local charities and organisations to make masks, as many as they can.

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is partnering with LA-based artists and artisans to sew 1,500 masks for local organizations in immediate need.
Since we are dedicated to the art of storytelling, we are moderating a series of online “sewing circles.” Sewing circles have long been spaces for free expression, activism, and storytelling across generations—especially for women—with open discussions and community building.
