Over three years may have passed since we lost Carrie Fisher, but there’s not a day goes by that we’re not reminded of her quirky humour or insight and speaking on Twitter, Kevin Smith remembered how she requested to be paid for her appearance in 2001’s Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
CARRIE FISHER agreed to be in STRIKE BACK for no money. She just wanted us to buy a pair of antique beaver chairs. When I met her on set, I asked "Why the chairs?" She said "I thought beaver was ironic currency to be in your movie." Loved her so much. #QuarantineWatchParty

Who else but Carrie would ask to be paid in antique beaver chairs?
