No matter the day, whenever we dip our toes into the Star Wars world we’re going to think of and miss Carrie Fisher. Any chance we can roll back the years and enjoy our funny, vivacious, smart princess, we’re going to take it and here we go way back to Saturday 18th November 1978 – that’s the day after The Star Wars Holiday Special debuted on CBS for the one and only time – and the sixth episode of the fourth season of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Carrie. The episode also included special music guests The Blues Brothers, featuring her future real-life fiance Dan Ackroyd and future onscreen boyfriend John Belushi.
