The new Yuzzum concept maquette is available to pre-order from the gang at Regal Robot tomorrow at 5.00pm UK time and noon Eastern, and here the team at Star Wars Replicas give us a great look at this amazing recreation of a classic creature from the original trilogy.

Regal Robot has shared details of their latest limited-edition replica in the company’s Archive Collection: the Yuzzum Concept Maquette Replica. This fan-favorite Jabba’s Palace alien will be available to order at 12 Noon EST on 3/25/25.

Offered in two incredible editions, fans can choose from a Signature Edition with original sculptor, Judy Elkins and a Legacy Sketch Edition which comes with a one-of-a-kind sketch from Return of the Jedi concept artist Nilo Rodis-Jamero and a plaque signed by Rodis-Jamero and Elkins.

With hands-on access to the original film artifact and high resolution 3D scanning, the Regal Robot team has crafted another incredibly faithful recreation. Each resin replica is hand-painted and finished in their New York studio.

Fun Yuzzum facts – The Yuzzum species was originally intended to be an Endor alien alongside the ewoks. The aliens would be revisited in the 90’s Special Editions to become the new Rebo Band singer, Joh Yowza. However, this particular iteration of the alien was known in Legends canon as Wam Lufba and is seen in many behind the scenes photos of Jabba’s palace and in documentaries like “Classic Creatures: Return of the Jedi” and “From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga.”
