More exciting news from the team at Granite City Comic Con. If you are attending the con, this will be an after-party you do not want to miss! For fans of pirates and space pirates everywhere – Jollyboat and Darth Elvis & The Imperials will be rocking the Richard Donald Stand at Pittodrie Stadium on Saturday 26th May.

It wouldn’t be Granite City Comic Con without our traditional after party, and we have some GCCC fan favourites returning in the form of Darth Elvis & The Imperials and Jollyboat

Jollyboat are the UK’s top comedy pirate nerd rock duo. Mixing comedy, live music, visuals, audience interaction and a little behind-the-scenes computer programming, Jollyboat put on a show unlike anything you’ve seen before!

Darth Elvis & The Imperials are a Star Wars themed Elvis tribute band from Viva Mos Eisley. In 1977 Elvis didn’t die he turned to the Darkside of the Force and ever since he has been playing music venues around the Outer Rim Territory. The band performed for the first time at the Official Star Wars convention Celebration Europe back in 2007 and have been thrilling audiences ever since with their unique mixture of rock n roll, comedy & outlandish performances. They really must be seen to be believed.

We’re taking over the whole first floor of the Richard Donald Stand – that’s two rooms, two bars and a whole lot of geeky fun!

Tickets for the after party are available from: teamgccc.eventbrite.com

It was in 2007 that Greig started another passion of his; Star Wars autograph collecting, picking up his first autographs at Celebration Europe. This passion has grown following his visits to Essen in 2013, London in 2016, Chicago in 2019 and other conventions around the UK. He is also very thankful for the lifelong friends he has met along the way who are as passionate as he is. Greig is passionate about music and Star Wars, so in 2007 he decided to mix his two loves together to create his alter ego Darth Elvis.
