With the announcement yesterday of docuseries Light and Magic coming to Disney Plus on 27th July came the news that a panel focusing on the show will also be landing at Celebration Anaheim, and wow, what a panel it is. Featuring (deep breath) Lawrence Kasdan and Ron Howard, joined by VFX titans Dennis Muren, Phil Tippett, Joe Johnston, Rose Duignan and Lynwen Brennan this will take a look inside the workings of ILM and give attendees a look at the show itself, which will still be two months away.

THE CELEBRATION STAGE
Be among the first in the world to get a sneak peek at the recently announced Disney+ documentary series “Light & Magic.” Join us for an “illuminating” discussion panel featuring Lawrence Kasdan and Ron Howard, joined by VFX titans Dennis Muren, Phil Tippett, Joe Johnston and Rose Duignan, and Lynwen Brennan, Lucasfilm executive vice president and general manager.

Don’t panic if you can’t make it to the Celebration stage as the panel will be streamed live to the Galaxy and Twin Suns stages.

Hang on…Lawrence Kasdan and Ron Howard on the same stage…the writer and director of Solo: A Star Wars Story…almost 4 years to the day since Solo came out…it couldn’t happen…could it?
