Late last week saw a slew of announcements regarding Galaxy’s Edge – the food and drink, the rides, the merch, the park even has its own app.
To continue our look at all of this amazing news, let’s take a look at the cool collectibles available around the 14.1 acres of Galaxy’s Edge, with images courtesy of Nerdist and check out the site this afternoon for the latest Making Tracks with special guests Amy Ratcliffe and Mike Quinn.
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities
Want to interact with a 245 year old Ithorian keeper of antiquities? Your best chance would be to visit Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, a treasure-trove of trinkets from across the galaxy. There are easter eggs from the films, TV and books, lightsabers that you can purchase and even Jedi and Sith holocrons.
Toydarian Toymaker
The Toydarian owner Zabaka has a wide selection of plush toys and carvings available, depicting heroes and villains from all sides, and musical instruments including horns, drums and more.
Creature Stall
Owned by an Amani called Bina, this magnificent menagerie is packed with animatronic creatures from across the stars, and the chance to buy plush versions of those creatures to take home when you leave Black Spire Outpost.
Savi’s Workshop
Savi is the character who creates lightsabers, building them from pieces of older sabers. There are four ‘stories’ that you can build: peace and justice (Jedi-inspired lightsaber pieces), power and control (Sith-inspired lightsaber pieces), elemental nature (nature inspired lightsaber pieces), or protection and defense (ancient lightsaber pieces), as well as your choice of kyber crystal and hilt.
Droid Depot
The droid depot, owned by Utai, gives you the chance to build your own unique droid, picking parts from a conveyor belt in a larger version of Droid Factory. You can build R or BB series astromechs, and then roll them around the park where they will interact with other droids. There are ready built droids like R2-D2, BB-8 and DJ R-3X – better known as Rex from Star Tours – who is now a disc jockey.
As seen below, the packaging for these purchases is in-universe, with First Order products being clean and smart and Resistance products being more rough and ready.
Black Spire Outfitters
The place to acquire your cosmic couture, with a vast array of styles and fashions available.
First Order Cargo
With the Red Fury, better known as the 709th Legion now stationed on Baatu, you can buy First Order loyal clothing at First Order Cargo, located in the First Order area near the newly designed TIE Echelon. Badges, flags and clothing are all available.
Resistance Supply
Just as the First Order is catered for, so is the Resistance, with a variety of styles including some based on designs from the Lucasfilm Archives.
