Sound legend Walter Murch honoured at the 74th American Cinema Editors Awards

The 74th American Cinema Editors Awards (the Eddies) saw George Lucas introduce Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Walter Murch on stage, reuniting two industry legends who’s journey together began in 1969 on Francis Ford Coppolas The Rain People (where Lucas served as an aide and Murch was in charge of Sound Montage and Re-recording) through THX-1138, mega hit American Graffiti and Murch coming up with the names for wookiees and R2-D2.
