With the goal of raising money for Cancer Research UK, actor Ross Beadman – Sors Bandeam from Revenge of the Sith – is taking part in a charity boxing match, and below he explains how you can support him and help raise much-needed funds for a hugely important charity.

I’m fighting in a charity boxing match next month (March 25th) for Cancer Research UK.

To sponsor me and contribute type in Ross Beadman on the Just Giving Website and my fundraiser is the top result. There you can contribution any level of money for this great cause. Any size of contribution would be greatly appreciated. I’m planning to raise £1000, and I believe we’ll smash this target!

I lost my grandad and grandma to bowel cancer at a time when cancer detection and treatment was poor compared to now. Late detection and diagnosis was very common compared to today and many suffered because of it.

Imagine if we were able to detect and cure it at a much faster rate. They and countless other people would still be alive today.

That’s why I’m fighting on March 25th. Let’s show people the power of internet subculture and kick cancer’s arse!
