This week over at Coffee with Kenobi Jay Krebs has reviewed another Fantha Tracks favourite the Musterbrand Leia Organa sweater. Jay’s detailed review as always looks closely at the material and how this affects the look and feel of the garment.

The knit used for the sweater is a very small rib knit, giving it a lot of drape and stretch. The material is very soft and lightweight. I would characterize the hand (feel) as somewhere between silk and cashmere. The feel while wearing is very light – almost “liquid” in nature, giving the overall look a nice flow in movement.

he cowl attachment, back yoke, and thumb holes have a serged construction detail. The cowl center seam features a flat-felled seam, which gives a nicer, finished look to that part of the garment.

I also have this sweater and I agree with Jay and love doing a bit of incognito Leia cosplay !

The sleeves are roomy, but not chunky, and the thumb holes are a super-fun part of the piece. The cowl is a beautiful, feminine, draping feature. I absolutely love it. You can also do a bit of Leia cosplay by pulling the cowl up as a hood, just like in Star Wars: A New Hope!

Check out Jay’s review over at Coffee with Kenobi and also head to Fantha Tracks tv to see our unboxing  of the Leia sweater too!
