Since 1983 he’s portrayed the stuff of nightmares, the most cunningly evil character in the entire Star Wars story, lurking in the background even when he was believed to be dead, pulling the strings of friend and foe alike only to somehow return. That’s Sheev Palpatine, but today the man behind the sithly facade reaches an important milestone as Ian McDiarmid celebrates his 80th birthday.

Still very much involved in the ongoing and ever-evolving story of Emperor Palpatine, the team here at Fantha Tracks send our heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Ian on this very special birthday.
