The further we spin away from the making of the original trilogy, the more the mystique around it grows, and so when footage like this is viewed for the first time there’s a special magic that seeps from the frames. The making of Return of the Jedi was a fascinating journey, filming in the UK and California and here we see footage in a documentary by Jeff Broz.

About 7 1/2″ minutes of the filming of Return of the Jedi in Buttercup Valley CA,1982.

Shot & edited on Super 8mm film, with Amiga titles.
