Virgin Media and BAFTA have teamed up to allow UK fans the chance to vote for the moment of 2020, and The Mandalorian is represented by one of the greatest moments in all of Star Wars; the return of Luke Skywalker as he arrived to save the day and take Grogu back to the Jedi.

The Mandalorian

Luke Skywalker appears

Having rescued Grogu, the Mandalorian and his allies are trapped aboard Moff Gideon’s ship. As Dark Troopers close in, a mysterious hooded figure arrives and eliminates the droids with a green lightsaber. It’s Luke Skywalker, who’s come to take Grogu. Mando bids the Child a heart-breaking goodbye.

If the awesomeness of the clip isn’t enough to persuade you, perhaps the man himself will nudge you towards the light. Mark Hamill had his say on this award, chosen by a public vote no less.

No dillying and definitely no dallying; get clicking here and vote for what is arguably the Star Wars moment of the millennium. You need to be a UK resident to vote.
