Bottleneck Gallery bring us prints and acrylic panels by the great Ralph McQuarrie, available on Thursday 13th August at 5.00pm UK/noon eastern over at Bottleneckgallery.com. His unmistakeable artwork is a pillar of the saga, and the chance to own his work in as high a format as this is one not to miss. There’s production art, concept art, work from illustrated books and more, so be there at noon Thursday and make them yours.

Ralph was originally commissioned by George Lucas in the ‘70s to create concept work based off of the original Star Wars script in order to better pitch the movie and story to film execs. Ralph’s galaxy-defining concept work became a foundational element for Star Wars, and holds a special place in so many fans’ hearts. This time around, we have eight prints from Ralph’s ouvré that spotlight many beloved characters and locations, including one of our favorites, C-3PO and the Ewoks! Ralph’s concept art offers an incredible look inside the making of the initial trilogy, and features so many elements that made the films pop culture mainstays.
