It’s been a while since You Can Draw Star Wars series, but Matt Busch is back with the first episode of Illustrating Star Wars, showing us around his amazing studio and giving new artists tips on how to get started on a Star Wars painting.

Star Wars Artist Matt Busch begins a new series on how he draws and paints epic montages. Since Matt is celebrating his 30th Anniversary of illustrating books, posters, apparel and more for that galaxy far, far away, it’s perfect timing to deliver new tutorials detailing each step of the way. Today Matt gives a studio tour and shares off-the-cuff tips, tricks, and techniques for getting started drawing out a large vibrant Star Wars painting.
