The sad passing in November 2022 of one of the greatest of all Batman performers Kevin Conroy not only signalled the end of an era for lovers of the worlds greatest detective but also for Mark Hamill, who made it clear at Fan Expo San Francisco that without Conroy to play against, his time voicing the Joker is over.

Mark spoke to The Hollywood Reporter after Conroy’s passing.

“Kevin was perfection. He was one of my favorite people on the planet, and I loved him like a brother. He truly cared for the people around him — his decency shone through everything he did. Every time I saw him or spoke with him, my spirits were elevated.”

Sad that Hamills time as the Joker has ended with the passing of the great Kevin Conroy, but those classic Gotham adventures wait to be enjoyed by new generations of Batfans.
