2020 will see the 30 year old attraction close for the best part of a year as renovations begin, changing the style of the experience ahead of the 50th anniversary and Indiana Jones V on 9th July 2021, the year that the iconic Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular will re-open, bringing the man in the hat back to Walt Disney World in Florida.

The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular should see some scene updates and a removal of the “working studio” theme that ties it back to the park as it existed in 1989. I wouldn’t expect to see camera crews or talking directors in the show when the changes come, based on the current creative direction of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
