Jenny Seagrove was recently interviewed by The Independent and during her chat about her life and career she remembered a brief but fascinating story about a journey around Israel with co-star Carrie Fisher while filming the star-studded 1988 Agatha Christie thriller Appontment With Death.

Carrie – God rest her soul – was in the same film and we were driven round parts of Israel. At the time she wanted to get some water from the River Jordan as her brother is a born-again Christian, so we stopped off and got a little vial to send back to him. Carrie was a very, very funny, dry woman. It was a very amusing drive.
