While the technology of the early 21st century hasn’t quite been able to deliver us Back to the Future 2 hoverboards or fully functional speeder bikes, the ingenuity of fans has been able to make something pretty close (and incredibly cool) across water. Check out this video by Devin Graham of his jet-propelled speeder bike, first filmed seven years ago but which has resurfaced this week, and maybe consider wearing something waterproof while watching it.

Once you’ve enjoyed the refreshing blast of a water-based speeder bike, you can listen to myself and Paul Naylor chat about the classsic 74-Z speeder bike on Start Your Engines.
