Soundstage is a unique regular and intimate film and arts event where the guests discuss their work and achievements. The events take place at The Others, 6 Manor Road, Stoke Newington, in North London, N16 5SA. The next event on Wednesday January 17th features Star Wars Art Director, Kevin Jenkins.
Kevin Jenkins is Design Supervisor for Lucasfilm and Supervising Art Director for Industrial Light & Magic, including on STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI. His credits also include THE FORCE AWAKENS and ROGUE ONE. His work includes designing and overseeing much of the look of these films, from overall sets to ships and vehicles. Kevin has won an Art Directors Guild award for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and a British Film Designers Guild award for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS. His career began in publishing, advertising and games, before going on to work on films such as WAR HORSE, EDGE OF TOMORROW and DREDD, then becoming a key figure behind the STAR WARS films.
Doors open at 7pm, with the event starting at 7:30pm. Tickets cost £15.
