Reading notes made about one of his many non LFL related classics, the 1982 masterpiece Blade Runner, Harrison Ford presented the Best Editing award and read out notes made on Ridley Scotts visionary epic, perhaps the best of which was the observation that “This movie gets worse every screening.” Interesting words, as almost 40 years later it’s considered one of the classics of the genre, with a sequel almost as well regarded.

A quiet night for Lucasfilm related winners, with Tenet taking away the gold ahead of ILM’s work on The Mignight Sky, though little surprise with ILM’s focus currently being on the streaming realms of Disney Plus.
