Travelers and residents in Cracow, Poland (Kraków) are in for a cinematic surprise as the standard interior of the city’s main railway station (Dworzec Główny) has been transformed into a space modelled after the iconic cantinas of the Star Wars universe. This unique installation features elaborate set designs and characteristic details intended to make the space feel more like a movie set than a typical transit hub.
As the only project of its kind in Poland, the takeover was launched to celebrate the upcoming theatrical release of The Mandalorian & Grogu on May 22. For one month, the location will serve as a special zone inspired by the adventures of Din Djarin and the Child.
For the next month, anyone passing through Kraków Main Station can step out of the daily commute and into the outer rim, proving that the Force is strong with the Polish fans.
