With Episode IX about to hit the full tilt of production – and happy birthday to director J.J. Abrams today, enjoy that birthday cake – news arrives that Death on the Nile, directed by Kenneth Branagh has had a change of release date and will be arriving on the same day as the third and final entry in the sequel trilogy.

The movie will now come out on December 20, 2019 (via Deadline), the same day as the final part of the current Star Wars trilogy, as well as the upcoming movie adaptation of musical Wicked.

We imagine a lot of people are going to be at the cinema that weekend.

We imagine there will be.
