Lucasfilm have announced that later this year they will launch an epic new era of Star Wars storytelling that will be explored through multiple authors in adult and young adult novels, children’s books, and comics from a variety of publishers including Disney Lucasfilm Press, Del Rey, IDW Publishing, and Marvel.

StarWars.com have released a trailer to support the announcement of a new publishing programme called 'The High Republic.'

Lucasfilm have lifted the lid on their long promised literature series, code named Project Luminous.  The series will be a cross-platform publication series called "The High Republic."
