Fantha Tracks EXCLUSIVE: Skeleton Crew: Chris Ford and Jon Watts’ discuss the Disney Plus show

Last week Fantha Tracks had the great fortune to meet the cast of Skeleton Crew on Trafalgar Square, and later head to Claridges and sit down with series showrunners Jon Watts and Chris Ford to talk about this highly anticipated show.

Showrunners’ Chris Ford, and Jon Watts discuss their upcoming Disney+ Star Wars show, ‘Skeleton Crew,’ with Fantha Tracks’ Mark Newbold.

Chris Ford, is a screen-writer renowned for his collaborations with director Jon Watts, notably in films like Clown (2014), Cop Car (2015), and Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017).

Jon Watts, is a film director, producer, and screenwriter. He gained recognition for directing the Spider-Man films within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU): Homecoming (2017), Far From Home (2019), and No Way Home (2021). Beyond the MCU, Watts has also directed and co-written films such as Clown (2014), Cop Car (2015), and Wolfs (2024).

‘Skeleton Crew’ is the latest Star Wars television series created for Disney+. Led by showrunners Jon Watts and Christopher Ford, the series follows a coming-of-age story about four children who make a startling discovery on their home planet, get lost in the galaxy, and embark on an adventure to return home.

The cast includes Jude Law alongside the four children played by Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, and Robert Timothy Smith.
