Here’s a first look at the forthcoming 233rd issue of Star Wars Insider magazine, out Tuesday 19th August in the States and 18th September in the UK. The issue features my interviews with Hasbro Senior Design Director Steve Evans and Skeleton Crew star Kyriana Kratter, plus an exclusive word from Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy on the BFI screening a the original print of Star Wars at the BFI in June. There’s that and a look at Andor season 2, an interview with Stellan Skarsgard and Genevieve O’Reilly, The Bad Batch Sanctuary novelist Lamar Giles, and exclusive Revenge of the Sith era fiction from Adam Lance Garcia.

In this issue of Star Wars Insider we celebrate Andor: A Star Wars Story by speaking to two of its core cast, Genevieve O’Reilly and Stellan Skarsgård, who talk about the sacrifices Mon Mothma and Luthen Rael made for the rebel cause. We also present our Andor Season 2 companion, taking an episode by episode look at the events of the series with contributions from the cast and crew.

The Bad Batch were another bunch of heroes active during the Empire’s reign of terror, and we speak to Lamar Giles about his exciting new novel starring Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, and Omega. Skeleton Crew’s Kyriana Kratter reveals what it was like playing KB in the Disney+ series, and Hasbro’s Steve Evans takes us behind the scenes of the making of Star Wars action figures. We also have brand new short fiction set in the weeks after Order 66 led to the Jedi being wiped out, in which we’ll discover it was very much the wrong place to be at the wrong time!
