Jon Favreau to receive the Saturn Visionary Award

The era of the MCU has not only weaved its way from Iron Man in 2008 to Avengers: Endgame – the highest grossing movie in history – breaking box office records and becoming the biggest of all franchises, it’s led to a wonderful overlap with the Star Wars galaxy. ILM, Michael Giacchino, Samuel L. Jackson and of course the man of the moment Jon Favreau who, for being one of the busiest and most innovative creatives in the industry, will receive the Saturn Visionary Award at the 45th annual Saturn Awards on 13th September 2019.

Favreau will be receiving the Saturn Visionary Award. Films like: Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Jungle Book, and The Lion King have shown Favreau’s mastery. His work in new technologies for these films and even more for his upcoming show, The Mandalorian, has greatly prepared him for this award. Finally, the last award winner is the boss of Marvel TV.
